Iceland: Transient Landscapes

This body of work is the result of a weeklong visit in the Icelandic landscape: a beautiful, yet overwhelming sensorial experience. The images are the results of the exploration of the temporal elements of a site - the extension of an ephemeral moment through permanent documentation. Executed through mark making dictated by environmental factors, the form and shape that precipitation leaves on paper are a record of the transient aspects of the location.
